Conference language English will be the conference language.
Postal services Postal services are available Saturday to Thursday from 08h00 - 15h00. Official conference hotels are prepared to handle all delegates’ postage requirements.
Insurance Delegates are responsible for their own insurance coverage during their stay in Egypt. However, our official conference transportation has full insurance coverage.
Medical care There will be a first aid counter. Delegates are advised to take out their own health insurance. Pharmacies are open during normal shopping hours.
Water Delegates are advised to drink only bottled drinking water outside their hotel.
Egyptian Food The Egyptian kitchen is renowned for its tasty dishes which appeal to millions of visitors. Elegant restaurants in major hotels, and elsewhere, offer delicious oriental selections such as kofta, kebab, musaka'a, falafel, dulma and kushari.
Badge name Your badge name must be worn at all times as it is your entry pass to all session and functions. Security staff may refuse entry to anyone not wearing his badge name.
Climate During May 2009. Minimum temperature: 15o. Maximum temperature: 25o.
Electricity Electricity in Egypt is 220 volts, 50hz. Please bring plug adapters as sockets are not standardised.

Banking Banks are open Sundays to Thursdays from 08h30 - 15h00. Automatic teller machines (ATMs) are available at banks at the airport and hotels (24 hours).
Currency The Egyptian currency is the Egyptian Pound in denomination Of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and coins of 0.05, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.25. Foreign currency can be exchanged at banks and private change offices. All main credit cards - amex , visa , master card, diner - are accepted in hotels. |
